Hi, Steve Kirsh and Yogi here with the answer to today’s adoption question. The question is: “If Kirsh & Kirsh provides to an expectant mom profiles of families, and she likes two different families, how does Kirsh & Kirsh handle that?”
The answer is, that is really up to the mom. In our practice, and it has been a hallmark of our practice since the beginning, birthmoms choose the adoptive parents. So, if a mom likes two different families, we will ask her if she would like to talk with or meet with one of them first and then she will, and if she wants to talk to or meet with both of them, she will.
It is really entirely her decision. We represent, we try represent all of our perspective adoptive parents equally and fairly. We try to leave the decision of who a mom chooses entirely to the mom.
I hope that is helpful. Yogi and I are always here to answer other questions.
