Surprise baby girl was born early Friday! Rob Kirsh represented the expectant mother as her attorney in Kentucky. She signed a consent to adoption via video this afternoon. Isn’t it amazing what we can do with technology right now. Everyone is doing great! ☺️

What a wonderfully busy week we have had, once again!
Earlier in the week, a loving mother proceeded with her second adoption plan and the same adoptive couple became parents to another baby boy!
Then, we received three phone calls for surprise babies, all within 24 hours! Two of those mothers chose to place their babies with adoptive parents who cannot wait to welcome their babies into their hearts and homes.
One of the mothers decided to parent her baby, after careful thought and consideration. Placing her baby for adoption is one of the most difficult decisions a mother can make and ultimately she knows what is best for her and her baby. We were very happy to meet with her and the social worker to help her feel informed and we respect the difficult decision she made.
Congratulations to all the parents and families created this week! 🧸 ☺️

We have been working with a birth mom since we met with her in January. She selected a wonderful adoptive couple from Indiana. However, as sometimes happens, after she delivered earlier this month, she told us she had decided to parent the baby. Although the couple was disappointed, they understood, and were put back on our “active” list.
Fast forward to Memorial Day when Rachel received a text from the birth mom saying that after being home with the baby for almost two weeks, she was feeling overwhelmed and was reconsidering placing her baby for adoption. After the birth mother spoke with a counselor, she decided that she wanted to proceed with the adoption and was hopeful the adoptive parents she had selected were still interested. Rachel reached out to Rob, who called the adoptive parents. They couldn’t believe they were receiving such a call, but were all in! Crystal put together the consent to adoption documents, and Rob handled the consent on Tuesday. The adoptive parents are beyond thankful for the selfless decision this birth mother made to allow them to complete their family.

On Thursday night, we received a call that an expectant mother was in labor with a little baby girl and was considering an adoption plan for her sweet baby. Yesterday, Joel met with this amazing mother and two parents got to meet their little girl for the first time 🥰
