MEG: There is a lot of information out there about abortion. There is a lot of information out there about raising a child as a single parent, but there is not a lot of information out there about adoption. It is usually an afterthought. There may be someone who talks to her about it, but usually it is not something that they are going to think of as an option right away.

Never obligated to proceed

Regardless of how certain or uncertain you are about your decision, we want to give you the opportunity to meet us in person, in order to decide for yourself if you will be comfortable working with us. We're happy to have that meeting in our office, your home, or anywhere in between, even if you live outside of Indianapolis. When you meet with us, we explain the process, answer any questions, and not, in any way, make you feel obligated to proceed with an adoption.

Only you can decide if adoption is your best plan for your baby's future. We'll provide you the information that you need to make that decision, but you are the one who actually makes the decision.

Add:

Never obligated to proceed

During the initial meeting, we'll explain adoption, in detail, and address any concerns you might have. The meeting with us does not obligate you to proceed with an adoption. In fact, you can't make that legal commitment until after the baby is born. Our goal is to provide you with the information you feel necessary to make the decision that is best for you, and, most importantly, for your baby.

Your parents don't need to be present during our discussion - even if you're under eighteen. But if you want your parents or anyone else with you at this meeting, we encourage you to invite them.
