JOEL KIRSH: Steve and I can help a birth mother feel more comfortable about adoption by letter her know that she makes all the decisions. She gets to choose who the family is that adopts. She gets to decide on what level of involvement she has with the adoptive parents. And she can make the best choice for her.
STEVE KIRSH: I cannot emphasize this enough because the question comes up all the time. An expectant mother who contacts us will not have to pay us a fee, will not be under any obligation to proceed with the adoption. Our fees are paid by prospective adoptive parents, not by birth mothers.

STEVE KIRSH: One of the biggest misconceptions about adoption is that women proceed with adoptions because they don't want their babies. That's the farthest thing in the world from being true. Women who proceed with adoptions love their babies dearly. They want more for their babies than they can provide at that moment in their life.
JOEL KIRSH: The adoptive parents are in a position in their lives where they're desperate to have a family. But simply because they can't have a child on their own doesn't mean that they're ready to adopt. So we require every family that comes to us that wants to adopt to go through extensive counseling so that they're prepared for all the issues involved in the adoption.
STEVE KIRSH: The decision to make an adoption plan for a baby is the most difficult decision that any woman will ever have to face in her life. Kirsh and Kirsh offers a support network of counselors, social workers, and other people that can talk to her and help her work through her feelings, give her the tools to deal with her emotions that will enable her to make the decision that's best for her.
All of our clients will provide letters and photographs, letting the birth mom know how her child is doing if she'd like to receive them.
JOEL KIRSH: The letters and updates that the adoptive parents send to the birth mother help her make sure that she made the right decision.
JOSHUA KIRSH: I've met a number of birth mothers. And the one thing that they always have in common is that they're amazing women who are making a confident, mature decision that's not always what's best for them, but what's best for their baby.
STEVE KIRSH: We've tried to answer many of the commonly asked questions about adoption. But I know there's others, questions about the father of the baby, lost wages, living expenses, medical expenses, foster care. Give Joel and me a call right now. We'd be happy to answer your questions without any cost or obligation on your part.
