Meet Families Waiting for African-American and Mixed Race Babies

These are some of the families whom we represent who are interested in adopting African-American and African-American mixed babies. As with all of the prospective adoptive parents whom we represent, these families are very carefully screened and investigated before we will represent them. Additionally, all of them go through additional counseling and education to be sure that they are fully prepared to successfully parent a child of color, if they themselves are not African-American. Click on their picture to learn more about each family. If you do not see a family who interests you, please call us. We have many more carefully screened and investigated, prospective adoptive parents whose profiles we can share with you.

We select adoptive parents very carefully. New families are always added to the bottom of the page; scroll down to see them.

LauraLaura:
My name is Laura, and I want to become a mother more than anything. Your kindness in considering adoption gives people like me hope that one day, my dream of having a child will come true. As a child, I would play house with dolls and try to help my mother change my siblings diapers. Although I have spent many of my 34 years searching for Mr. Right, all I have found are Mr. Wrongs. While I am continuing my search, I am not willing to delay being a mom any longer.
